Before the rest of the descrpition the entire team at Jagged Fang Designs would like to thank Dr. Thomas Carr for his assistance and feedback while reconstructing this animal, without his expert advice this reconstruction would not at all have been possible.
Digital 3D reconstruction of the Tyrannosaurine Daspletosaurus torosus, overshadowed in recent years by the controversies over oral integument stirred up by Daspletosaurus horneri, D.torrosus nonetheless provides an interesting animal to reconstruct, and an especially comprehensive one at that thanks to D.horneri itself.
Due to what this reconstruction was commissioned for there were sadly limits for texture size and thus the bodily integument of this animal is approximately 2-3 times too large across the body, however the facial integument, due to being extremely large by nature, did not see such a scale up.
This reconstruction was commisioned for usage within Jurassic World Evolution by http://lwpaleoart.deviantart.com/ and http://c-compiler.deviantart.com/, a link to the mod version of this animal is available here: https://www.nexusmods.com/jurassicworldevolution/mods/497/
3D model produced jointly in Blender and Zbrush with the underlaying wrinkles and muscle highlights being sculpted in Zbrush. Scales done in Photoshop and colours in Krita.
